The second meeting of the Industrial Follow Group has been organized at the Engineering College of Aarnhus on the 27th of November. This meeting has the same goal as the one that was organized in Enschede: to inform the members of the Industrial Follow Group about the progress of Destecs.
All members of the Industrial Follow Group have been asked to send in a challenge for the Destecs project. A challenge is a problem that can be evaluated using the tools and methods that have been built during the first year. The Destecs consortium will collect all challenges and choose at least 3 to be evaluated. For the evaluation about two manmonths of work will put into the challenge. No costs are involved for the challenge raisers. The goal of these challenges is to gain an evaluation of the potential benefits of deploying collaborative modelling and co-simulation in real industrial contexts. We hope that the challenges will show the effectiveness of the DESTECS methods and tools for a wider range of problems.
