Combined Installer

The DESTECS suite and 20-sim can be installed standalone (see the sections below). However, during development the standalone version may not always be compatible. Therefore DESTECS project members are advised to use the combined installer that installs both the DESTECS tool as well as 20-sim. Click on the link below to go to the Chessforge pages (only accessible for DESTECS project mebers).

• Download the destecsInstaller x.y.z.exe file and install the package.
• During Installation, select the default options.
• Contact Controllab Products to get a valid 20-sim license.

  DESTECS standalone

The DESTECS suite is an open source tool, developed by universities and industrial partners involved in the DESTECS EU-FP7 project. The tool is developed on top of the Eclipse platform. The best way to run the DESTECS suit is to download a special version of Eclipse with the DESTECS plug-in already pre-installed. Click on:

to download a pre-installed version of DESTECS. The download file is a zip-file. You have to extract this zip-file and place the contents on any location where you have read and write access (e.g. My Documents).

20-sim standalone

20-sim is a proprietary tool created by Controllab Products. An electronic license file is required to run the co-simulation. You can download 20-sim from:

To get a working license for 20-sim, please contact Controllab Products (info@controllab.nl).

• After installation open 20-sim
• Click on Tools - Options - Interface 
• Choose Enable XMLRPC Interface

In 20-sim you have to enable the XMLRPC interface.
